VOLUNTEERING AT MOTAT
MOTAT is supported by over 200 dedicated volunteers. Our volunteers have diverse skills and work in many areas of the museum.
Collection Operations Volunteer roles include, tramway, railway, steam and military operation, as well as print shop and bookbinding. Our collection operations teams are particularly busy during the weekend, 'Live Day's (third Sunday of the month), and our special festive events such as Christmas Lights. Due to the operational nature of these roles, priority is given to applicants who demonstrate a long term commitment to volunteering and a high level of enthusiasm during training.
