Deli staff members at New World’s Long Bay supermarket on Auckland’s North Shore were among the first in-work learners to graduate with an EduBit from the Whitestone Cheese Co. Affineur Academy.
Supermarket co-owner Marcus Te Brake says “There is value in my deli staff being able to converse with customers on the subject of cheese. It presents up-selling opportunities. This additional knowledge provides a marketplace edge.”
When revolutionary GP Lance O'Sullivan developed iMOKO, a start-up digital health service for children in Northland, he turned to EduBits to solve his training needs.
"We worked with Otago Polytechnic to develop EduBits specifically for iMOKO. We can now assess and credential our experienced staff. It has also enabled us to train our new volunteer digital health assessors efficiently."
