Assessment Criteria

You are required to submit evidence of the following:

  1. Describe the historical context that led to the development of the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi/the Treaty of Waitangi.
  2. Discuss the relationship between the articles and principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi/the Treaty of Waitangi.
  3. Identify and discuss legislation from New Zealand’s colonial history that were not in keeping with the promises guaranteed in Te Tiriti o Waitangi/the Treaty of Waitangi.
  4. Discuss the contemporary effects of colonisation on Iwi Māori in own region.

Instructions:
