Education Unlimited: Write-up, Speak-up, Be Safe (hidden)

Show us you can identify workplace health and safety requirements, use knowledge of health and safety legislation and work in a group to develop and present an improvement initiative for the workplace and can follow reporting procedures relevant to their role in their workplace.


Task 1. Requires you to provide copies of your Certificate of Achievement from Pathways Awarua Health and Safety Key Collection(s). 

Task 2. Requires you to provide: 

  • A video that shows your presentation of the workplace improvement project (this could be a team project or an individual learning).  The time limit for this video is two (2) minutes.  (Refer to Note 1 for the Video Guidelines below). 
  • A copy of the presentation that includes identification of the slide/s you presented and you introducing yourself. 

Note 1. Download the Video Guidelines from the Resources section for this EduBit.  Always open your video link and check it opens and can be watched when you submit this as evidence. 

Task 3. Requires you to provide copies of forms completed by you. 

Task 4. Requires you to provide your Certificate of Completion for the Education Unlimited course, signed by your tutor.

To earn this EduBit evidence must be provided to show you can:

  1. Identify roles and responsibilities of themselves and their employer with respect to the Health and Safety at Work Act, 2015. 
  2. Develop and present an improvement to health and safety within their workplace. . 
  3. Comply with legislation and workplace requirements around health and safety reporting procedures.


To earn this EduBit, all work must be your own and you must submit evidence exactly as requested in the Task instructions.  

When you've finished gathering your evidence, press Purchase. Trained and experienced assessors are standing by to evaluate your evidence and provide feedback on how you did for each task, as well as how you did overall.  

  • If your evidence does not yet meet the requirements, we will provide feedback on what is missing and encourage you to practice your skills and attempt the EduBit again at a later date.   
  • If there are minor gaps in your submission evidence, you will be given the opportunity to resubmit. You will have 14 calendar days to add the missing evidence and submit for re-evaluation.
